Man injected Empty Syringe: An incident reported from the state of Bihar has been catching the attention of many- a nurse injected an empty syringe into the body of a man while he expected his COVID-19 vaccine jab. The nurse has been suspended following the viral video on the internet.
"This syringe is just like their promises- Empty" claimed one while others raised a question on the entire vaccination drive after encountering the shocking video of the Bihar nurse injecting an air-filled syringe into the man.
According to a report, the nurse has been removed from her duty, following the carelessness proven in the viral video. The incident was shot by an unidentified person, present at the vaccination centre.

The viral video shows the woman using a new syringe after tearing open its packet and straightaway injected the man while conversing with the others present in the room. She went nowhere close to the vaccine vial before injecting it into the man's arm.
Identifying the risk of other serious health-related conditions, possibly due to the introduction of the air-filled syringe into the body, a user commented, "At least, it's an intramuscular injection? Air embolism se bach gaya, covid se kaise bachega (Even though you are saved from air embolism, how will you be saved from COVID?)".
Reportedly, the man in question did not even realise what happened to him for hours. The person who shot the video and who happens to be a friend of the said man told him later after uploading it on social media.
Here's how social media users reacted to the viral video:
"Is this how we vaccinated 80 lakh people?" read one of the comments.
