In a shocking incident, an 11-year-old Scheduled Caste girl from Eastern Uttar Pradesh's Bhadohi was brutally murdered on Thursday. The nation is still in shock of the Hathras and Balrampur gang rape cases.
According to the police, they are investigating and are waiting for the report of postmortem to determine it rape, ANI reported. Ram Badan Singh, an officer of the police force said, "This would become clear when the postmortem report is in." He further said, "Head of the girl smashed with stones. Post-mortem report awaited. Investigation underway." The police said, the body was found by his brother when he went to look for her
Circle Officer (Gyanpur) Bhushan Verma told The Indian Express, “The body was found in a field in the village. Around 3 pm, police got information about the incident. The girl had left the house around 12.30 pm and did not return for some time, after which her family members started looking for her. Later, her body was found by the family, who informed the police. The girl’s head had been smashed with a brick.”

Bhadohi Perpetrators Arrested
The Bhadohi police has arrested the alleged rapists. In the evening, two persons from the same village, belonging to the Dalit community, were arrested while one minor was detained in connection with the murder.
In a statement released by Bhadohi Police, they have identified three attackers involved in the crime. According to Bhadohi SP Ram Badan Singh, "All of them belong to one family." The statement by the police said that due to previous tensions between families, the attackers murdered the girl who was around 11-years-old.
