On Wednesday, the mother-of-three created a tense situation after climbing an electric pole following a heated argument with her husband. The incident, captured on video and circulated online, highlights the emotional turmoil that can arise from domestic disputes.

According to reports, the woman, identified as 34-year-old Suman Devi, allegedly had an extramarital affair for seven years. A confrontation ensued when her husband, Ram Govind, a 35-year-old labourer, discovered the affair.

Local media reports conflicting details about Devi's demands. Some sources claim she wanted her lover to be accommodated in their household and contribute financially, while others suggest she was simply arguing for the continuation of the affair. Regardless of the specifics, Govind vehemently disagreed and reportedly left the house.

Following the argument, Devi's emotional distress escalated. In a disturbing turn of events, she climbed a high-tension electric pole in Pipraich, a town in Gorakhpur. Witnesses were horrified to see her perched precariously on the pole, gripping a high-tension wire. Fearing for her safety, onlookers immediately called the police and the electricity department.
