Una Stubbs death : Actor Una Stubbs has died at the age of 84. She was fampus for her roles in TV shows like Worzel Gummidge, Till Death Us Do Part, Sherlock and EastEnders. In a statement, her sons Joe and Christian Henson and Jason Gilmore said: "Mum passed away quietly today with her family around her, in Edinburgh. We ask for privacy and understanding at this most difficult and sad of times."
The UK star's agent said that she died at her home in Edinburgh. She had not been keeping well for a few months, as per sources. She was surrounded by her family in her last moments. She found fame in the 1960s by appearing in films like Sir Cliff Richard's Summer Holiday.

She started her career as a dancer.
she played Alf Garnett's exasperated daughter Rita in Till Death Us Do Part and the 1980s follow-ups 'Til Death and In Sickness and In Health and became famous through these roles on the small screen.
She also acted in The Worst Witch. It was a hit among children. She also appeared in soap EastEnders, The Catherine Tate Show and sitcom Benidorm.
She also played Sherlock's landlady Mrs Hudson in the BBC drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch. This was her last major role.
Her agent Rebecca Blond is deeply upset with her demise. She was representative for more than 20 years. She said that she would always remember her.
The actress got married twice in her lifetime. She first got married to actor Peter Gilmore (1958-69) and then to actor Nicky Henson (1969-75). She is survived by three children. These include the composers Christian Henson and Joe Henson.
