A video of twins marrying the same man in Maharashtra went viral and caught the attention of the police, who launched an investigation.

The man, Atul Uttam Autade runs a travel agency in Mumbai and married twin sisters Rinki and Pinki Padgaonkar in.

Autade was charged with bigamy, the criminal offence of having two or more spouses at the same time. Bigamy is illegal in India and draws a seven-year jail sentence.

Courier Delivery Man Held For Outraging Woman's Modesty

The Mumbai police arrested a 27-year-old courier delivery man for allegedly outraging a woman's modesty.

According to the police, the accused Shadam Alam Shakib Alam Shaikh had gone to the building where the woman resided to deliver goods to another resident. A police officer said Shaikh saw the 24-year-old woman talking on the phone and crying and checked to see which flat she lived in.

Later, he wrote his phone number and a message on a piece of tissue paper and dropped it at her house. The woman contacted her parents as she was afraid and complained to the police.

Delhi HC Reserves Orders On Woman's Plea Seeking To Terminate 33-Week Pregnancy

The Delhi High Court reserved the order on a plea moved by a 33-week pregnant woman seeking termination of pregnancy on account of the foetus having "cerebral abnormalities".

The bench directed the medical board of the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital to examine the woman and asked the neurosurgeon if the child will have a normal life.

The doctor responded he could not comment on if the child would be handicapped and the degree of it.

Gujarat Wrestler Arrested For Allegedly Molesting Upto 100 Women

Kaushal Pipaliya, a state-level wrestling champion was arrested following the complaint of a woman for molestation. The gold medalist was accused of molesting and physically abusing a yoga teacher inside an elevator.

The police told the media that, "Pipaliya has admitted to molesting around 100 women and was getting pervert pleasure from his vile act".

Delhi High Court On The Consent Of A Minor

The Delhi High Court rejected the bail request of a man who allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl. The court said, "The consent of a minor is no consent in the eyes of the law".

The court also noted that the man was already married and 23 years old had taken the young girl to the office of the Regional Sub-Divisional Magistrate to have the year of birth changed from 2002 to 2000 on her Aadhaar card.

A 46-year-old man from the United States, Samuel Rappylee Bateman was accused of marrying young girls, including his teenage daughter. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) documents, most of his wives were under 15 years old and some were as young as 9.
