News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA) has ruled in favour of actor Rakul Preet Singh in a case she filed accusing many television channels for reports linking her to drugs and Sushant Singh Rajput case. Live Law reported on the case saying the NBSA has told Zee News, Zee 24, Zee Hindustani to air an apology to the actor on 17th of December.

Other tv channels, like Times Now, India Today, Aaj Tak etc have been directed to remove links of reports against Rakul Preet Singh.

As per the report, NBSA found the tag-lines used by Zee against Rakul Preet Singh to be violative of Code of Ethics and that misleading images of her drinking and smoking were shown.
