If some social media meme personalities wish to remove themselves from the face of internet, literally, many have capitalised on their popularity. Social media personality, Chloe Clem was just two years old when she broke the internet with her disapproving look. As per reports, she is now going to auction the famous 'side-eyeing Chloe' meme as a non-fungible token (NFT).

The picture of Chloe went viral in 2013 in which she was seen in a car seat wearing a pink top. Since then, the look on her face has since been referred to my netizens to express any, even mild, disapproval. The picture was clicked by Clem's mother when she asked her about a surprise Disney trip.

After eight years since the picture was posted on the internet, Clem has gained massive popularity. Her family while talking to BBC said that when they learned about NFT, auctioning Clem's picture seemed like a "no brainer". The cryptocurrency NFT is valued at roughly $15,000.

Chloe Clem's mother said, "It’s a cool opportunity, especially if there’s a Chloe fan out there who loves this meme they’ll be able to own it. Even Chloe has said ‘that’s pretty cool’ — it’s a typical 10-year-old thing to say.”

To give the context of the iconic picture, Clem's mother Katie was filming her two daughters while announcing a surprise trip to Disney Land. While Chloe's sister broke into tears with excitement, her expression could not be more different. When Katie uploaded the video online, it garnered more than 20 million views on Youtube and everyone was noticing just Chloe Clem.

Clem is now 10-years-old with a huge followership on Tiktok and Instagram. Her mother told the media that the money raised by NFT will be used for Chloe's education. The NFTs are blockchain-based records of ownership of a digital item such as a picture or a video. Memes have been chief items to sell out for NFT.
