The Media is trying to create Feuds between strong women: Madonna

Madonna clears the air over allegedly dissing Lady Gaga. One of Madonna unreleased songs, “two steps behind me” that fell out on the web, makes references about “a copycat”, and was rumored to be about Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga has often been pitted against the classic Madge by the media- that just can’t stop drawing parallels in their careers, even going to the extent of calling her the “new-age Madonna”.

Madonna disparagingly states, through her Instagram post, that the world cannot stop reducing women to petty stereotypes. "We still live in a world that discriminates against women. There are People that are so hateful.”

She was particularly angered by the way the media tends to sensationalize. “They want to create feuds between strong women that do not exist! I do not wish ill-will towards any other female artist and I never have! I will fight for my rights as an artist, a human and a woman till the end of my days! Because I am a #rebelheart."

Guy Oseary, her manager, also had to take to Twitter to put to rest this controversy that was spiraling out of control.”That song is NOT about Gaga or anyone in particular, it is an unfinished demo she had no intention of finishing or releasing along with many others. She has NO ill-will towards Gaga. It's nonsense. She was listening to (Gaga's) Tony Bennett duet album last week and appreciating it.”

Madonna and her team are trying to get to the bottom of this crime. And to the world that is trying to play on the supposed insecurities of a woman artist, all she has to say is that the world is big enough for everyone. It takes more than that to get the Queen of Pop down.
