Shilpa Shetty on Hungama 2: Amidst the scandal concerning her husband Raj Kundra's arrest over alleged production of pornographic films, Shilpa Shetty urged fans through her official Twitter account to watch the comedy-drama Hungama 2 with families for the sake of every single person attached to the film.
Hungama 2 was released on July 23 on an OTT platform The comedy-drama will mark Shetty's comeback into Bollywood after a hiatus of many years.
The release of her film coincides with Raj Kundra being sent to custody until July 27 in the alleged pornography case.
Shetty took to her Twitter account to write that the film is involves the efforts of the entire team and the film shouldn't suffer due to the ongoing controversies.
Raj Kundra Pornography Case
Shetty's partner Kundra, along with his associate Ryan Thorpe, was sent to police custody till July 27 on Friday over alleged involvement in producing and distributing pornographic videos through some mobile applications.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale stated that the police suspect Kundra to be the key conspirator and they have sufficient evidence regarding the same.
Following the allegations, Kundra made headlines on July 19 however, denied the charges of producing porn.
On July 21, Gehana Vasisth, the actor who is alleged to be involved in the production of pornography along with Kundra and was arrested regarding the same, said that they indeed created videos and she herself featured in three of them, however, none of them was pornographic.
