Taapsee Pannu Wraps Up Rashmi Rocket Ranchi Schedule With An Ode To Real Athletes

Actor Taapsee Pannu wrapped up the Ranchi schedule of her upcoming film Rashmi Rocket on Wednesday. The actor shared the news on Instagram with a picture which is apparently Pannu’s look in the movie.

Pannu in the caption tipped her hat to real athletes and expressed relief that she doesn’t have to live their life every day. She wrote, “ And it’s a wrap on Ranchi schedule! Done with the races finally! Hasn’t been a day I haven’t tipped my hat to the real athletes who do this everyday of their life for years! I am glad I don’t have to do this for real.”

Taapsee Pannu had earlier shared her work-out videos on social media where she was seen lifting heavy weights and doing other hard-core exercises. Rashmi Rocket is a film directed by Akarsh Khurana which tells the story of a runner from Gujarat who gets named Rashmi Rocket because of the speed with which runs on the track. It is set to release next year.

The pictures revealed by Taapsee Pannu on social media show her transformation journey for the role of an athlete. She had also shared that she had her varicose veins operated just 6 weeks before she started training for the film.

Pannu is going to be featured in another sports movie named Shabaash Mithu which is said to be a biopic based on Indian Women’s Cricket Team captain Mithali Raj. Her upcoming movie is Haseen Dilruba directed by Vinil Mathew.
