As the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is fast approaching, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's enthusiasm has no bounds. He recently took to X (Twitter) to share a YouTube video of a bhajan called Ram Aayenge, recited by singer Swati Mishra. PM Modi was incredibly impressed by Mishra's music video, calling it "mesmerising". Mishra's soulful voice has now reached a vast audience completely captivated by the devotion to Lord Ram ahead of the January 22 Ayodhya fete.

Swati Mishra released Ram Aayenge in October last year. She has also released a new track, Ram Aaye Hain on January 2, bracing her listeners for the upcoming Ram Mandir consecration ceremony. Mishra's voice truly transcends listeners into a devotional and ethereal space, so much so that even the country's Prime Minister could not help but share it with the world. The song has garnered over 6.9 lakh likes on YouTube.

How Swati Mishra Impressed PM Modi

Swati Mishra is a Mumbai-based musician and content creator who instantly became a sensation when PM Modi shared her voice with the world on the morning of January 3. Mishra is a freelancer who has performed at several festive events across the country. She mostly posts song covers but sometimes takes the pen to craft soulful devotional as well as filmy music.

Some of her popular tracks include creative covers and variations of popular songs like Heeriye, Chaand Baaliyan, and Tere Vaste. Mishra also collaborates with other budding musicians and creators for some tracks.

Mishra's creativity in writing lyrics shines in such cover songs. However, she is most well known for her recitations of bhajans, which are what she usually performs at events. She also delves into singing Bhojpuri numbers at live concerts.

Swati Mishra's newly released original track is an ode to the upcoming consecration of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, expected to happen this month. The song Ram Aaye Hain has got devotees all the more excited for the long-awaited ceremony, as Mishra sings in her romantic voice, "Lord Ram has returned to Ayodhya after completing vanvaas (exile years)"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also anticipating the close-inching day. "I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion,” the Prime Minister had written in a post on X.
