Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be seen together onscreen, but this time, for a noble cause in One World: Together At Home a live virtual event, curated by Lady Gaga. The event is being organized by Global Citizen and World Health Organisation to raise funds for the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Lady Gaga is being said to be the creative force in this event, co-hosted by Jimmy Kimmel along with  Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert from their respective homes. This is a fully virtual event and will include Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra, along with other global artists like Alanis Morisette, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Idris, and Sabrina Alba, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder among many more.

35 Million Dollars Raised In A Week

Lady Gaga in the Jimmy Kennel Live show said that around 35 million dollars have been collected in a week for Global Citizen’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. She also said that she feels blessed to be home with access to good food and a healthy clean environment.

In India, both Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra have been doing their part in fighting the pandemic. According to The Hindu, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan had offered their personal office to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to help expand the quarantine facility. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra had tweeted that she and her husband Nick Jonas had donated to several organisations like the PM-CARES Fund, UNICEF, Feeding America and Goonj: “These organizations are doing amazing work by helping those impacted by #Covid19. They are feeding the hungry, supporting doctors and first responders, helping low income and homeless communities, and supporting our colleagues in the entertainment industry.”
