After Sonali Phogat's Death, Old Dance Video With The Accused Goes Viral

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader and actor Sonali Phogat's death brought a new turn when the post-mortem results came out. According to reports the autopsy mentions that the body had multiple blunt injuries. Goa Police has opened a murder case following that. An old video of her dancing rather uncomfortably with her assistants surfaced.

Sonali Phogat hails from Haryana and got married early in life to Sanjay Phogat. They have a daughter named Yashodhara. Sanjay Phogat passed away in 2016 under mysterious circumstances. Sonali Phogat joined BJP back in 2008 and has contested in elections. Phogat has featured in a film called Motherhood in 2019. Phogat's social media presence was quite dominating as she was a well-known TikTok star who put up videos of herself dancing to popular songs. In 2020, Phogat participated in the popular television show Bigg Boss.

On August 22, 2022 Sonali Phogat was declared dead when she was rushed to St Anthony Hospital at Anjuna in North Goa. Allegedly she started feeling uneasy while eating at a restaurant with her personal assistants Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Wasi. The cause of her death was initially told to be a heart attack according to the reports. But her family accused her PAs of foul play as her sister requested CBI to investigate her death."My sister cannot have a heart attack. She was very fit. We demand a proper investigation by CBI. My family is not ready to accept that she died of a heart attack. She had no such medical problem," a sister of hers named Rupesh told ANI.

An old video of Sonali Phogat has surfaced where she can be seen dancing with her PAs. But Phogat seems to be uncomfortable while the two men were trying to dance with her. One of the men in the video was holding her closely while she kept moving away and removing his hands.

According to reports, Rinku Dhaka, Sonali Phogat's brother filed a complaint against the two men before this video surfaced. He told the media that Phogat had spoken to them a short while before her death and her brother pointed out that she seemed disturbed on the call and had complained against her colleagues.

As per the reports by ANI, the last rites of the BJP leader will be performed today in her home in Hisar in Haryana.
