The current Minister for Textiles recently started the #IloveHandloom campaign on twitter, promoting Indian handlooms, which was a great hit. Many citizens including some socialites and celebrities also posted their pictures wearing Handloom sarees.

However on Wednesday speaking at a awards function organised by the Air Passengers Association of India (APAI), the textiles minister revealed to everyone’s surprise that she tried to get a job as a cabin crew member at Jet Airways but was rejected.
“I don’t know if many people know that one of the first jobs that I wanted and I lined up for was cabin crew at Jet. I was rejected because I was told I don’t have a good personality. Thank God for your rejection. After that, I got a job at McDonald’s and the rest is history,” reported NewsWorldIndia.com
