Sia Calls Actor Shia LaBeouf A 'Pathological Liar', Says She Is Proud Of FKA Twigs

After FKA twigs, Australian singer and songwriter Sia too spoke up against actor Shia LaBeouf's conduct while being in relationship with women. Opening up about her relationship with LaBeouf, Sia tweeted, "I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single." Sia further added, "I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away."

British singer-songwriter FKA twigs had recently filed a lawsuit against the Hollywood actor for “relentless abuse” including “sexual battery” and “assault". She also called him "dangerous" as she demanded a trial by jury.

In another tweet, Sia added, “Also I love you @FKAtwigs. This is very courageous and I’m very proud of you.”

FKA twigs accused La Beouf of physical and emotional abuse

Detailing about their relationship in a civil lawsuit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court, FKA twigs called LaBeouf abusive. She also went on to call her relationship with the actor the “worst thing I’ve ever been through in the whole of my life.”

FKA twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, accused LaBeouf of physically and emotionally abusing her when they were dating between 2018 and 2019. As per her complaint, the 34-year-old actor had constantly put her in a state of fear and humiliation. She also claimed that he gave her a sexually transmitted disease, the New York Times reports.

“Simply put, LaBeouf’s reckless disregard for the health and safety of his partners makes him a danger to women everywhere,” the lawsuit stated, adding that the actor’s attorney “cruelly dismissed the sexually transmitted disease LaBeouf had infected Tahliah as ‘not that bad.’”

According to a BBC report, the actor also accepted he had “been abusive” to himself and “everyone around me for years”.
