Shaza Morani weds Priyaank Sharma: According to recent reports, the couple has postponed their Hindu wedding due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Mumbai. A source said that the new restrictions do not allow a gathering of more than 50 people, "In view of this, the Sharmas and Moranis will have the Hindu wedding done soon but at a later date. The Maldives festivities were a pre-wedding celebration to the Hindu wedding which was meant to follow four days from now." 

In yet another celebrity wedding ringing bells around town, entrepreneur Shaza Morani tied the knot with actor Priyaank Sharma on Feb 4, 2021. Sharma, the son of veteran film actor Padmini Kolhapure and cousin of actor Shraddha Kapoor, and Morani, the daughter of popular film producer Karim Morani, have reportedly been together for many years now.

The couple had registered for marriage in Mumbai in December last year, as per Times of India, with wedding celebrations being hosted on February 4 for friends and family. The groom's baraat was spotted arriving at producer Morani's residence, where the events of the day are reportedly planned. Kolhapure, donned in a lehenga, was seen shaking a leg on the happy occasion too. 

Some starry names from Bollywood, including Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol, and Juhi Chawla also made an appearance. Shraddha Kapoor meanwhile joined her cousin's wedding party donned in a chic white outfit.

As per sources quoted in Mumbai Mirror, Sharma and Morani have known each other since childhood, having attended the same school and living together in New York for a while.  

Morani is an entertainment-managing director, noted for her role as assistant director in the Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone-starrer Happy New Year. Her social media profile states she is also the co-founder of an enterprise called Samaaj Scope that focuses content on social issues. Sharma, meanwhile, has starred in the 2020-released Sab Kushal Mangal.
