Australian social worker, Shaniera Akram, the wife of Pakistan’s fast bowler, Wasim Akram wished him on his 55th birthday, on Thursday.

She posted a photo of herself with her husband, on Twitter, and wrote,  “Happy birthday to the love of my life. A man that proves that age really is just a number.” She posted the same photo on her official Instagram handle, and wrote about how Wasim has been an inspiration to their family, and also to the whole world, in the caption. Shaniera Akram continued by saying that Wasim has taught her the real meaning of happiness, by ‘living in the moment’.

She then lamented the fact they weren’t together for his 55th birthday. Wasim Akram then reciprocated his love for Shaniera, by leaving an adorable comment on her heartfelt post.

In another tweet, Shaniera Akram spoke about their family is currently in different parts of the world on Wasim’s birthday. She revealed that she and her daughter, are currently in Australia, while her husband is in Abu Dhabi. She stressed how the COVID-19 pandemic, has made them realise and appreciate their family.

Many people from the cricket world, have wished Wasim Akram on his birthday. This includes veteran Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis and former Pakistan seamer, Shoaib Akhtar. Many of the cricketer’s fans took to social media for the same.

Shaniera Akram called Kangana Ranaut a ‘tool box’

Recently, Shaniera Akram reacted to Bollywood actor, Kangana Ranaut‘s unwavering support for Israel. This happened after a conflict between Israel and Palestine took place, earlier last month. Israel was internationally called out for pushing Palestinians out of their houses.

Akram tweeted made fun of Ranaut by calling her a toolbox, and saying that she has ‘lost one rather large screw.’
