A German woman was questioned in connection to legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne's death, amid allegations of a security breach on the ambulance that was carrying his body. Warne passed away March 4, leaving a world of admirers in grief. The 'king of spin' was 52 and on holiday in Thailand when tragedy struck.
Autopsy results found Warne died of natural causes and no foul play was involved. Initial reports suggested the cause of death was a heart attack and post-mortem confirmed it.
Warne was in Koh Samui, a popular tourist destination in Thailand, at the time of his death. His body was scheduled to be moved to the capital city of Bangkok on Monday from where it would be flown to Australia.
According to a video that has surfaced, a German woman, with flowers in her hand, was seen walking on the ferry and inside the ambulance where Warne's body rested. She reportedly spent approximately 40 seconds in the van, which raised concerns as the video went viral.

The German woman's entry into the vehicle pointed to a potential security breach. As per Sydney Morning Herald, she was a fan and wanted to pay her last respects to the cricketer. Thai police admitted there was a breach but reportedly dropped their investigation when the woman's identity was known.
Reports indicate that police officials stationed near Warne's body were told the woman knew the cricketer personally. In the video, she is seen being allowed to pass by various officials. "She's a friend," a Thai female official is heard saying about the German woman.
The woman reportedly is from Koh Samui.
