In an alleged fraud case, the Chandigarh Police questioned Bollywood actor Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and seven others linked with the actor's Being Human charity on Thursday.

Salman Khan Summoned: The Chandigarh Police has summoned Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and others linked with the Being Human on Thursday, July 8.

The Tiger Zinda Hai actor and others have been given time till July 13 to respond to the allegation. "They have until July 13th to respond. If there is anything criminal, it would be dealt with appropriate action, " Chandigarh SP Ketan Bansal said in a statement to ANI.

According to the police complaint filed by Arun Gupta, a businessman in Chandigarh, the Being Human association has reportedly inaugurated a showroom in the Mani Majra area of the city. The investment amounts up to Rs 3 Crores. Gupta alleged that Being Human failed to send goods for the showroom. The website of the organisation is also not working for a long time, stated Gupta. The Being Human association entered into a written agreement with Gupta, which is now being investigated by the police.

Gupta has registered a video with police officials, in which Khan allegedly tells the businessman that he will arrive in Chandigarh to inaugurate the new showroom. Additionally, Gupta submitted pictures of him and his family with the actor.

Further, the Chandigarh businessman alleged that he was promised on behalf of the Being Human franchise that all the items would be provided timely in addition to promoting the showroom. According to Gupta, the opening of the showroom was attended by Ayush Sharma, citing Khan’s busy schedule.

Salman Khan was last seen in the film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The film also starred Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. Being Woman was founded in 2017.
