Republic Day 2022 Preparations: Troops Of Female Daredevils Practise Stunts At Vijay Chowk

Preparations for Republic Day 2022 has been started as female troops are gearing up with their stunts to give their best in the parade.

Republic Day 2022 preparations have started in Delhi as troops of female daredevils were seen practising stunts at Vijay Chowk. It is reported that there will be more than a hundred female troops across different military ranks performing at the republic day parade. Border Security Force’s (BSF) all-women biker team Seema Bhawani will also be spotted showcasing their stunts at the parade.

The preparations for Republic Day 2022 have started as female troops gear up practising their daredevil stunts at Vijay Chowk. BSF’s all-women biker team Seema Bhawani will also be displaying their stunts as the team is going through its eight-hour training.

According to ANI, more than 100 female troops belonging to various ranks in the military will be a part of the performances. The all-women biker team will be showcasing their talent in the Republic Day parade for the second time in a row. The team debuted their performance in the parade in 2018.

Republic Day 2022 Preparations: Seema Bhawani to display its daredevil stunts with an all-women biker team

BSF’s Seema Bhawani includes Inspector Himanshu Sirohi and SI Sonia Banwari along with one more sub-inspector, among others who are practising hard to polish their skills to give their best at the ceremonies. Seema Bhawani will be presenting stunts riding on their motorcycles which is reported to include Border Women Salute, Single Kneeling, Shaktiman, Abhinandan, Gulistan, Aerobic, Pyramid and others.

It has also been reported that a woman officer will be leading the National Navy Contingent this year. Earlier in 2015, female contingents of Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force had debuted in the Republic Day parade.

Back in 2019, Lieutenant Bhavana Kasturi became the first female officer to lead an all-men contingent of the India Army Service Corps in the republic day parade. In the same year, Captain Bhavna Syal also commanded the transportable satellite terminal’s contingent. The 2019 Republic Day Parade also included an all-women contingent of the Assam Rifles.
