She wrote, "It doesn't make sense to me, but it looks better than all the stars in the Milky Way." In another message, she expressed, "So very proud of you." Rao couldn't contain her joy and shared the heartwarming exchange on social media with the caption, "My mom is literally the best hype woman to ever exist."

In contrast to the heartfelt response from her mother, Rao also shared her experience of sharing the same message with her father. She disclosed that she received a mere "thumbs up" emoji in response when she sent the same message to her father.

Another individual expressed a comparable sentiment, observing that despite her limited understanding of her mother, she deeply appreciates the genuine efforts her mother makes to comprehend her work. She openly shares every detail of her work, and her mother consistently exhibits attentive and enthusiastic listening, which brings her great comfort.

A thesis symbolises the culmination of years spent in academia, representing the extensive dedication and effort invested in obtaining a degree and pushing the boundaries of knowledge. It is a demanding undertaking that requires years of hard work and unwavering commitment, often pushing individuals beyond their comfort zones.

Accompanying the post was a humorous caption that referred to her thesis as the "longest labour ever" and included the hashtag #phdlife.
