Who Is Aparna Thakur? Woman Claiming To Be Ravi Kishan's Second Wife

Aparna Thakur, a resident of Lucknow, has come forward with allegations against actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan. In a recent press conference held in Lucknow, Thakur claimed that Kishan has been neglecting their daughter since her second marriage, both socially and publicly.

FIR Filed Against Aparna Thakur by Ravi Kishan's Wife

In a recent development, it has been reported that Ravi Kishan's wife, Preeti Shukla, has lodged an FIR against Aparna Thakur at the Hazratganj police station. The FIR, filed late April 16 night, alleges that Thakur threatened Shukla and demanded a sum of Rs. 20 crore from them. Shukla further stated that Thakur claimed to have connections with the underworld and threatened to falsely accuse Kishan of rape as well as harm the entire family if her demands were not met. 

Shukla stated that when her demands were not fulfilled, Thakur had earlier held a press conference in Lucknow, where she made false allegations against Kishan. According to the FIR, Thakur has been married for 35 years to her husband, Rajesh Soni, and has a 27-year-old daughter and a 25-year-old son. When contacted for a response, Kishan stated that he was occupied with election-related matters and would not be available for comment at the moment.

Who is Aparna Thakur?

According to Pinkvilla, Aparna Thakur resides in Lucknow and first met Ravi Kishan in 1995, when he was a journalist. They dated for a year before tying the knot in 1996 in Malad, Bombay, in the presence of Kishan's entire family. The couple allegedly has a daughter named Shenova.

In a viral video, Thakur asserted, "My name is Aparna, and my daughter is the daughter of MP and actor Ravi Kishan, whom he is not accepting." She also mentioned her intention to seek legal recourse, stating, "I am also going to court for this." Shenova, allegedly Kishan's daughter, revealed that her father used to maintain contact with them, visit them, and make promises of assistance in the future. However, he has not communicated with them for the past four years.
