The 11-year-old minor Dalit girl was gang raped on February 13, 2022. The suspects accused of rape were recently released on bail recently. They reportedly forcefully entered the survivor’s family's thatched shed on Monday evening. This occurred after the survivor refused to withdraw the case against them. The incident reportedly involved five other individuals.

As per police reports, the rape survivor’s father was attacked with an axe by her grandfather, uncle, and four others on April 13. The attackers had sided with the accused, who had allegedly gang-raped the 11-year-old minor. The victim's mother filed a complaint, leading to the registration of an FIR under the relevant IPC sections. The authorities are actively working to locate and apprehend the accused. Officer Santosh Singh also mentioned the father has been hospitalized at the district medical centre with significant injuries.

The perpetrators beat her mother up and proceeded to set fire to their shed. The mother claims that their motive for burning down their home was to get rid of the infant child.

As reported by Sushil Srivastava, the chief medical superintendent, the infant son of the rape survivor experienced burns on 35 per cent on his body, while the victim's sister experienced 45 per cent of burns during the unfortunate incident. As their condition deteriorated, the infants were sent to Kanpur for medical care.
