Sadak 2 star expressed her disappointment on Twitter. She criticized PT Usha for her opinion on the protests and held her accountable for 'reprimanding and gaslighting' the issue.

Bhatt replied to the Rashtriya Lok Dal leader, Jayant Singh's tweet on Twitter. She came in support of wrestlers and said that it is heartbreaking to see our top athletes left with no choice but to take to the streets & to then be reprimanded/issue gaslit by legends like #PTUsha.

PT Usha's remarks were inappropriate. According to her, the protests were detrimental to the game and country and that the players should wait for the committee report to be released before taking any further action. She disapproved of the protests, calling them indiscipline, and suggested that the wrestlers should have refrained from protesting on the streets. The wrestlers had forwarded their demands to Usha for her intervention.

Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, and Bajrang Punia are among the well-known wrestlers battling for justice in the matter of the WFI president's alleged sexual harassment of female wrestlers, including one minor. They began their protest in January and it was put to a stop after they met with Anurag Thakur, the minister of sports. However, they resumed their protests on April 24 after their requests were not satisfied.
