Patrick Adams Meghan Markle: Actor Patrick Adams who was paired with Meghan Markle on popular television series Suits has come to Markle's defence as he calls out the royal family for "tormenting" her.
Adams took to Twitter a posted a series of tweets blasting the royal family. He addressed the bullying allegation against Markle and wrote, "Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits. From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued."
Patrick Adams called Markle a "powerful woman with a deep sense of morality and a fierce work ethic". He went to talk about how his co-star was never afraid to speak her mind. He then wrote about how Meghan moved to a new country and got involved in a family dynamic which he called "complicated" at best and "seemingly archaic and toxic" at worst.
He called out the alleged mistreatment of Meghan Markle by the royal family "racist and slanderous" and also dragged in the UK media as he accused them of spewing "clickbaiting vitriol" in Markle's direction. He added," but I also knew that Meghan was stronger than people realized or understood and they would regret underestimating her.".
Adams continued, "It’s OBSCENE that the Royal Family, who’s the newest member is currently GROWING INSIDE OF HER, is promoting and amplifying accusations of “bullying” against a woman < Markle>." He alleged that Markle was "basically forced to flee the UK" in order to protect her family and her mental health. He ended his tweet thread by telling the royal family to find someone else to "admonish, berate and torment". "My friend Meghan is way out of your league".
