The death of a 17-year-old school student in Coimbatore made headlines earlier this week. The minor in her suicide letter had reportedly named her school teacher who had allegedly been sexually assaulting her for months. The chats between the girl and the accused also hinted at a cover-up by the teacher and emotional manipulation. The girl's family members identified the accused teacher Mithun Chakraborty and alleged that he was the reason the girl had to change her school.

According to recent reports, the police have arrested the teacher and currently investigating the matter.
