Nivetha Thomas is an award winning Indian film actress who appears in South Indian films including those in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil.
Thomas is well known for films like Ninnu Kori (2017), Gentleman (2016), Brochevarevarura (2019) and Darbar (2020).
Thomas made her debut twelve years ago with the 2008 Malayalam film Veruthe Oru Bharya. She also picked a few different awards, notable among them was the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. Thomas's work was well appreciated and in the same year she made her Tamil debut with a movie call Kuruvi.
Her first release in 2017 was another Telugu film, opposite Nani, the romantic entertainer Ninnu Kori which picked good reviews. She was praised her performance as "pallavi" which landed her second Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu Nomination at 65th Filmfare Awards South.
In an interview with Bollywood Life, she talked about her rapport with Nani. "I can talk to him about things beyond films. We give opinions on each other's work. I like his approach towards his work, film choices and how he takes on a character. There are similarities between him and me. We get the best out of each other. He is just like a family member. His family is very chilled-out. For me, it is like having a home in Hyderabad."
Nivetha Thomas recently got back to shooting amidst the pandemic with restricted crew size. She is acting in Vakeel Saab with stricter safety norms. Thomas is said to play a key role in the film. She took to social media to make the announcement and give us a glimpse of the set design.
