Earlier this month, Bigg Boss 14 finalist Nikki Tamboli lost her brother due to COVID-19. In her latest Instagram post, she penned down how each day is difficult for her to pass and how she has not yet come to terms with the loss. "I miss my brother so much and I am sobbing myself to sleep almost every night. Few people whom I know tell me that it was his time to go and I should be glad he's not in emotional pain anymore and not sick anymore and that I have to let him go but my mind just doesn't want to accept that", she said.

They were very close and she knew him the whole life. They protected each other from other family members and she had to look after him for the most of his life even when she wasn't around him.

She believes she was both his sister and mother. The actor added that her parents expect her to be strong but she doesn't feel strong at all. "I feel like everything is too hard and I just feel each day is difficult to live. I haven't accepted my brother's death", she continued.

Tamboli expressed that she doesn't find any reason to stay alive or for her life to go on. While she is unable to take this intense sadness, many people are telling her that it will get more manageable.

Others are being unsupportive by getting impatient and asking her when she will stop grieving. "Its been less than 10 days and I don't think I will ever 'stop grieving'. I just think it will change how it makes me feel later. I wish I knew what to do to make it feel more bearable now...I feel totally lost and never felt such a dark sad feeling", she added.

The Bigg Boss finalist concluded her note saying that she tries to act normally around people but doesn't find any meaning in it. She doesn't understand how her brother can leave without a prior information. He never asked for any help, whatsoever throughout his life, not even when he was admitted in the hospital. They couldn't talk and connect due to the pandemic.

At last, Tamboli said, "He left us without having a conversation. Depression is unseen, unheard. It is the pain that is too much to cope with, too hard to deal with & never understood. It is something you can't escape, no matter how hard you try it always swallow you again".

Nikki Tamboli acted in the Tamil movie Kanchana 3 and Telugu movies Chikati Gadilo Chithakotudu and Thipparaa Meesam. She will now be seen in the reality game show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.
