Shweta Bachchan Nanda's daughter Navya Naveli Nanda turned entrepreneur just a week after her graduation. Navya has started an online healthcare platform called Aara Health to “empower, educate and diagnose” women.
Venturing into the healthcare business at a crucial time like this, Navya, who recently graduated from college, co-founded the company with three young women - Ahilya Mehta, Mallika Sahney and Pragya Saboo.
In its official Instagram page, Aara Health wrote that it’s a “platform for women that aims to empower, educate and diagnose in a confidential, safe and reliable manner”.

“Help empower other women”
“We are young and independent women who have come together to solve a common problem that has not been given the attention it deserves. Our different backgrounds and experiences have inspired us to help empower other women!” reads their official statement on Instagram. Navya is following in her father, businessman Nikhil Nanda's footsteps, shattering all sorts of rumours about entering into Bollywood. A well-known star kid, she also modelled for her mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda's designer label in collaboration with designer Monisha Jaising in the year 2018.
Abhishek Bachchan, in his Instagram story, wrote, "For women by women. Well done Navya. Very proud of you (sic)."
Congratulating the budding entrepreneur, her mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda commented: "Bravo ladies. onwards and upwards," on one of the posts.
Director Zoya Akhtar wrote, "Congratulations @navyananda. You are too cool for school."
Last week, Navya celebrated a DIY graduation ceremony (May 6) at home as she couldn't travel back to her college in New York's Fordham University. Mom Shweta took to Instagram and shared glimpses of how her daughter celebrated her graduation. “With a chart paper cap and a gown hand stitched from scraps of black tenting. I threw on a Fordham (her college) sweatshirt over my PJ’s!!” she wrote. She wore a homemade robe and her scholar cap was made out of chart paper.

Apart from studies, Navya is also doing her internship in Ogilvy & Mather.
