India’s First IT Couple Narayana And Sudha Murthy’s Story On Celluloid

Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has a brand new and exciting project in her kitty. She has paired with Nitesh Tiwari and they are now gearing up to direct her fourth film, based on Indian IT’s first couple, Infosys co-founder N R Narayana Murthy and wife Sudha Murthy.

As per reports by Mumbai Mirror, “The film is expected to roll next year,” the source revealed. Writer-director Sanjay Tripathi had first brainstormed the idea and the scripting will begin soon. A source has revealed that the director has already started researching the couple because she wants to portray all the correct facts before diving into their story.

Ashwiny has stellar films in store like Nil Battey Sannata, the Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi, and has recently recently wrapped up Panga, starring Kangana Ranaut

A source closer to the development told the daily, “She has already started researching Indian IT’s first couple because she wants to have all the facts right before she dives into this inspiring story. The film is expected to roll next year. Sanjay Tripathy (writer-director) came up with the idea and scripting will begin soon.”

Murthy couple has led an inspirational life and are known as India’s first IT couple. They have been involved in many philanthropist works. Narayana Murthy is a graduate from National Institute of Engineering, University of Mysore and later went on to do his MTech from IIT Kanpur. He founded Infosys in 1981.

Sudha Murthy, on the other hand, was the first female engineer to be hired by the automotive manufacturing company TELCO in Pune.

Another report  claimed, Narayana Murthy was an introvert and Sudha a bold, ambitious computer scientist. Both met in Pune.
