'My Heart Goes To India': Drew Barrymore Shows Support During Pandemic

Charlie's Angels' actor Drew Barrymore supports India in her video addressing the current situation. Drew also addressed her old memories in India

Charlie's Angels star Drew Barrymore recalled her memories back when she was in India as she addressed the current situation brought by the pandemic in the country.

She said that she has understood the meaning of life and made a lot of meaningful friends in India. Barrymore also added that her heart goes to India.

Drew Barrymore is an American actor, and talk show host that air on Zee Cafe. She is best known for her work in Charlie's Angels, Batman Forever, Never Been Kissed, Going The Distance and more. Barrymore in the latest episode of the 'The Drew Barrymore Show' addressed the ongoing pandemic and how it's affecting India. She sent her wishes and recalled her treasured memories from her visits.

India truly holds a very special place in her heart said, Drew Barrymore. She continued saying that in her visits she met many wonderful people who truly inspired her as a person. This propelled her to write a chapter in her book too.

Drew added, "Today, as we cope with the worldwide situation, my heart goes out to the people of India who’re trying hard to hold it together. Countless people, celebrities and organizations coming together and pledging support, people starting food centres and relief groups...and that is truly the need of the hour."

The Hollywood star added the things that inspired her the most. She said that she came across a couple of articles online regarding the selfless donations that people have been doing to help the needy and also how 100+-year-old people are beating COVID-19.

Barrymore added a few examples like she saw a 110-year-old COVID-19 survivor in India and a man donating his entire life’s savings towards relief in the news and was greatly inspired by it. Barrymore shared her love and wishes for the people of India to come out stronger during such tough times.
