Mumbai Police registers case against Kangana Ranaut, Rangoli Chandel

Case against Kangana Ranaut : In Mumbai, the Khar police registered a case against actor Kangana Ranaut, her sister Rangoli Chandel, Akshat Ranaut & one Kamal Kumar Jain under sections 406, 406, 415, 418, 34, 120 (b) and 51, 63, 63A Copyright Act in connection with a film 'Didda: The Warrior Queen of Kashmir'.

Earlier today the Court had ordered the city's cops to register a complaint.

This is all in connection with a copyright case. The court had directed police to file a case against the actor on copyright complaints made by the author of Didda: The Warrior Queen of Kashmir. The author had said publicly said Ranaut “usurped” his book's title and turned it into the title of her next film Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda.
