Mithali Raj 7000 Runs In ODIs : First Woman Cricketer to do So. This is a big one for female cricket. BCCI tweeted out this achievement of Raj.

Mithali Raj Is First Woman Cricketer To Score 7,000 Runs In ODIs. She went past the 7,000-run mark during her partnership with Punam Raut in the ongoing fourth ODI in Lucknow. She needed 26 runs to get to the landmark on Sunday.

  • Mithali Raj is playing her 213th one day international. The 38-year-old had made her debut against Ireland women in 1999.
  • The Indian skipper has scored 54 half-centuries, which is by all means, also a record among women. Raj has seven centuries to her credit.
  • Mithali Raj has represented India across 89 T20 internationals.
  • Raj earlier announced retirement from the T20 format in 2019. Mithali has 17 half-centuries in T20Is with a top score of 97 not out.

Mithali Raj is not new to cricket records. On Friday, March 12th, India ODI captain Mithali Raj became the first Indian woman cricketer and second woman cricketer overall to complete 10,000 runs in international cricket. Here's a video of her past records.
