Minor Boys Stone Six-Year-Old Girl To Death For Resisting Sexual Advances: All About The Case

Minor Porn Addicts Kill 6-year-old Girl: In Nagaon district of Assam, two minor boys allegedly stoned a six-year-old girl to death after she resisted their sexual advances.

The two boys, both 11 years old have been arrested by police. The parents of one of the accused were also arrested. The police have said the boys were addicted to porn and the alleged crime was the result of that. One eight-year-old boy was also arrested for helping the two boys.

Here is what we know about the case: 

• The six-year-old girl was allegedly murdered on October 18. As per reports, she was found lying in an unconscious state inside the toilet of a stone-crushing mill.
• The girl was then taken to a hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
• The Nagaon Superintendent of Police Anand Mishra tweeted about the incident and said that family or social intervention could have saved four young lives.
• The police have said that the minor boys were porn addicts and capable of committing the gruesome murder. “It seems it’s time for introspection and social intervention,” the police said.
• According to a report by New Indian Express, the Sub Divisional Police officer, Mrinmoy Das said that the girl was a next-door neighbour of the minor boys. The officer clarified that the girl was not raped.
• As per the police, one of the accused studies in an English medium school and belongs to a well-to-do family.
• When the girl resisted his sexual advances and threatened to tell her parents about it, he allegedly attacked her with a stone. He then attacked her against in the same manner with the help of the other 11-year-old boy.
• Along with the eight-year-old, the parents of one of the accused also helped tamper with evidence.
• The police said that the boy was using his father's phone to watch porn. The parents of the accused did not know how to use the phone.
• Das said that the father of the accused once found him in a compromising state with his sister. The boy had reportedly started using the phone for his online classes but got addicted to porn and would such contents to his cousins.
• The police added that the way the 11-year-old tried to cover up the incident showed a lack of child-like innocence.
• The police are going to produce the three boys in court and will most likely send them to juvenile court. "The couple has been with us for two days and we will not seek their custody. They are likely to be remanded to judicial custody,” the police officer added.
