Meghan Markle's Estranged Father Pleads To Meet His Grandchildren

Meghan Markle Father Interview: Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle's estranged father pleaded with his daughter on Tuesday to let him see his grandchildren. He appeared on the Good Morning Britain programme and said that they are a point where both of them should grow up and make for the sake of children.

He said, "This is ridiculous, almost four years, it's crazy." Meghan Markle's first child, Archie, was born in 2019 and Thomas Markle is yet to meet him and his grandaughter Lilibet who was born in June this year. He said that it is his message to the kids that they have two families.

"Their great grandmother is the Queen of England, and I think it's important for them to know that they have two families and eventually they're going to grow up and they're going to want to know more about them," he said. Markle was being interviewed from his home in Mexico. The 77-year-old former lighting director has won an Emmy award. He said that Meghan Markle changes after meeting Prince Harry. He also claimed that after marrying Harry, she wanted him to stop talking to her step-sister and step-brother.

Thomas Markle separated from his former wife Doria Ragland when Meghan Markle was young. Ragland was present at the Duchess' wedding and even had tea with Queen Elizabeth II but Markle's father refused to attend the wedding. It was reported that he took part in staging a paparazzi photoshoot of her daughter. At the time, he had also claimed of undergone heart surgery.

Duchess of Sussex has known to have severed ties with her father after her wedding to the royal family member Prince Harry.  The couple had shocked everyone last year when they decided to step down as active royal family members and handed over their duties as the royals.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently living in Los Angeles with their two children. Since they cut all financial ties with the royals, they have been making news with new deals with streaming platforms such as Apple TV and Netflix.
