Sirisha is suffering from a rare form of tumour and a neurological disorder since 2016

Sirisha is going through a phase when if she takes on too much mental pressure, it could affect her health seriously. Even though she is forbidden to take much strain physically, this medical condition could not stop her from achieving academic excellence. She gave a steller performance despite the Big C.

Naresh Mehtani, HUDA chief town planner, and a proud father, told Hindustan Times, “We thank her school and the doctors at PGI for their extraordinary support and care. Together they made it possible for Sirisha to take her exams.”

The girl scored 100 in science and social studies. Despite the gruelling treatment, the braveheart did not let her studies suffer

“She suffered a lot. She would attend only 1-2 periods in a day. Her mother would wait for her outside the class. We are extremely proud of her,” says Sister Nisha, Principal, Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School.

Sirisha's story is rare. She proved that medical inability doesn't define her. She achieved the top position despite the odds.

Way to go, girl!
