In Mangaluru 3 Men Attack Woman: In yet another incident, allegedly on account of rejection, a group of men attacked a girl and her group at a restaurant. The incident was caught on CCTV camera of the restaurant.

Police officials from Kadri (Mangaluru East) police station have registered a case against the men. As stated by the police officials, the attack was reported on Saturday at Coconut Grove restaurant, Bendoorwell Main Road. Three men, identified as Trishul, Santosh and Danish, stormed into the restaurant and attacked a group of people inside, as seen in the CCTV footage. 

Savitra Teja, a police inspector, told The News Minute that the police has registered a case against those men.

She said, “A man barged in, looking to speak to a girl he was in love with. This led to a dispute between two groups and one person sustained minor injuries. The woman is fine and did not sustain any injuries but one person who tried to block the men from attacking her was injured."

CCTV Footage

In the 24-second long clip from the footage released, the group of men are seen barging into the restaurant. Two men wearing helmets start the fight by throwing a helmet placed on a table near the door. They then engage in a fistfight, while throwing objects on the four people seated around a table. Two men seated at the table are seen retaliating and take the fight outside, while two women stare at the door.

The police officials further added that the investigation is underway and an FIR was registered against Danish, Santosh, Trishul and others under charges of rioting, unlawful assembly, criminal intimidation and assault.
