Mumbai Police Arrests Man Who Harassed And Blackmailed Actor Model Urfi Javed

Man who harassed Urfi Javed was allegedly arrested by the Mumbai police as the influencer and model herself shared pictures of him being arrested by the police. Recently Urfi Javed uploaded screenshots of her conversations with him and claimed that the man was harassing her from last two years.

Model and television actor Urfi Javed shared a long note on her Instagram account on Sunday telling about how a man named Obade Afridi, who allegedly works in the Punjabi film industry, was harassing and threatening her on WhatsApp. He had been blackmailing her for video sex and claimed he had pictures of her that could ruin her career. Javed filed a case against him at the Goregaon police station and after about two weeks, the man was reportedly arrested as the influencer herself shared the news.

Sharing a picture of Mumbai police arresting the man, Urfi Javed wrote, "Good news! This man who molested me is finally behind bars. Thank you very much Mumbai Police". In her post regarding the incident, she wrote that she filed a complaint against the man's behaviour on August 1 but was disappointed as the police took no action against him. She also said that the man would have harassed so many women like her and was a threat to society and women. The man allegedly morphed pictures her pictures and distributed it two years ago for which she filed a complaint against him back then and has been blackmailing her since then.

She told how she got in contact with him and wrote, "I had worked with her sister Ashna Kishore, I contacted the sisters, sent them proof how he’s been blackmailing me and what all he has done to other girls but guess what, these girls bluntly chose to ignore the proofs and supported him saying all 50 girls are lying including me! Wow. These girls were chilling with this man the night he started blackmailing me, I tried contacting them but no response, no help. Idk what action police will take now but just wanted to tell everyone about this man who is freely working in the Punjab industry"
