This case took place in Wajidpur village of Jansath tehsil of Muzaffarnagar. The accused, identified as Rajpal Saini, repeatedly raped the 15-year-old girl over a span of a few months that got her seven months pregnant.
Station House Officer (SHO), Yogesh Sharma told media that Saini has been apprehended. The family of the girl found out about the repeated rapes only after they discovered that she was pregnant and now the survivor has been taken for medical examination. In a similarly horrifying incident, a man repeatedly raped his female teenage neighbour girl for months until he reportedly gave her an abortion pill which led to her death. The incident happened in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh and it came to light in July.

After having the pill, her health started to deteriorate and soon she died. Seeing the girl die, the accused panicked and ran away from Kamalganj, said the police. Residents of Kamalganj crossing found the girl’s body and they informed her parents about it.
The girl’s body was sent for post mortem at the beginning of July. The police have filed charges against the accused and three of his family members under Section 313 (forcible abortion) and Section 314 (death caused by act done with intent to cause miscarriage) of the Indian Penal Code. However, they haven’t been able to arrest them yet.
