Why Was The Little Girl Killed By A Stray Dog

In another incident of stray dog killings in Aligarh, a retired doctor had suffered the brunt of it a week ago in front of Aligarh Muslim University. The sixty-five-year-old doctor was apparently on his cell phone talking to somebody when he was mauled to death by the dogs.

Owing to such repeated incidents the National Human Rights Commission asked the vice-chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University and the chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh along with the Welfare Board of India to devise a plan of action regarding occurrences.

Instances of stray dogs turning violent have not proven kind for the furry community. Perpetrators of animal violence hide behind this reason to commit crimes of violence against voiceless creatures.

Dogs on the street are relocated, attacked, tortured, beaten up, and left to bleed by perpetrators of animal violence. Some even subject them to bestiality. Unfortunately, the survivors of such crimes lose their faith in humans and as a result, turn violent towards them with the slightest of triggers. They are then accused of the attacks they inflict due to the trauma they have suffered at the hands of humans.
