MX player's upcoming Pati, Patni aur Panga has got a notice objecting to the content and calling it transphobic. The Trans Equality Society filed the petition stating that the supposed romantic comedy series has "transphobic, misogynistic, defamatory and malicious content about members of the transgender community."

The notice, shared on Twitter, seeks to stall the airing of the show on Timesgroup's OTT platform MX player, and asks that its trailer and all content associated with it be withdrawn. In addition to this, the notice also demands an unconditional apology to be printed on the first page of every Times Group "everyday for one month."
