Lata Mangeshkar COVID donation: Veteran singer and Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar has donated Rs. 7 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for COVID-19 relief work.
Mangeshkar has contributed Rs. 7 lakh to the relief fund of the Maharashtra Chief Minister in order to help combat the Coronavirus pandemic in the state. On Saturday, the Directorate General of information and Public Relations (DGIPR) shared the news on Twitter.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray thanked Mangeshkar saying that they acknowledged the donation of Rs. 7 lakh from Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar with gratitude. The amount would be used to fight against COVID-19. The CM relief fund has been set up by the state for everyone who wishes to contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Thackeray has urged people to come forth and contribute to the fund.
