Last month, Neeleswaram police had arrested a 50-year-old man for sexually harassing his 16-year-old daughter for the last two years. The girl had even undergone an abortion a few months ago after being impregnated by one of the harassers.

In May, a man from Madhya Pradesh reportedly raped his daughter in the presence of the mother who only helped him. He raped her twice in 16 days of COVID-19 lockdown. When her parents got to know about it, they forced her to undergo an abortion. But the woman refused.
