"Law Of The Land Is Supreme":Kiren Rijiju Responds To Taapsee Pannu's Boyfriend's Request

Taapsee Pannu Boyfriend: Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju silenced Taapsee Pannu's boyfriend Mathias Boe. The latter took to Twitter to defend his girlfriend and even appealed to Rijiju for help.

He also said that Taapsee's parents were under a lot of stress after the recent income tax raid at her house.

"Finding myself in a bit of turmoil. Representing Flag of India for the first time as a coach for some great athletes, meanwhile, I-T department is raiding Taapsee’s houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents. @KirenRijiju please do something, " he tweeted.

Kiren Rijiju Tells Taapsee Pannu's Boyfriend To Stick To His 'Professional duties'

Kiren Rijiju responded to his appeal by urging Mathias to concentrate on his 'professional duties' as the entire matter regarding the raid doesn't belong to their domain.

Mathias Boe is a Danish Badminton player and coach who in Switzerland with the Indian players for the Swiss Open tournament.

The income tax had raided the houses of Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap on Wednesday. They stated that the raid was connected to the production company Phantom Films which was dissolved in 2018 after its co-founder Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment. Over 30 locations in Mumbai and Pune which are connected to the company have been searched by the officials.
