She is going to face the camera for the first time post-pregnancy in April for 'Veere Di Wedding'. She had walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week, some 40-odd days after giving birth to Taimur Ali Khan.

In a recent interview with IANS, Kareena talked about balancing work and motherhood and said, “I have always balanced my work and my marriage. People thought that I wouldn't, and I did. I am going to continue to do that. I think women know how to multi-task,” reported Mid-Day

She added, “Today, you see working women out there. If you have a family, if you have a child... It doesn't mean you are home-bound. Of course, there is time for that and work.”

The actor busted a few myths around how a woman should act during pregnancy and has been an inspiration to all young women. She did not stay confined to home and was actively working and attending brand endorsement events and handled media attention with elegance like she has always done.

She agreed that pregnancy is normal for everyone and women do work during the time. “It's not about proving a point," she explained, adding: "It was just something I wanted to do. It was something I believed in that I have nothing to hide. When I got married, it was the most beautiful phase. Pregnancy was the most normal thing that was going to happen and giving birth to a child is as normal as ever."

Kareena doesn’t think she did anything extraordinary. “The only thing different is that we are just happy; we have an addition in our home," she said.

Now, Kareena is all ready to prep her body for her upcoming film and she is hitting the gym again for the next two months before starting with the film.
