• The local BJP leader's daughter, who was the eldest among the other five children, was cremated on the evening of the day her body was discovered.
• Although no primary accused has been named by the police yet, the first suspect has been identified as Pradeep Kumar Singh Dhanuk after preliminary analysis of call data records (CDR) of a mobile phone recovered from the crime scene. Dhanuk is a married man and may have involvements as an assistant in the case, according to reports.
• According to a complaint filed by the girl's family, the 16-year-old went missing after leaving home at 10 on the morning of June 7.
