Navya Naveli Nanda often shares photos with her grandmother Jaya Bacchan on her social media account and Bacchan recently joined her on her podcast What The Hell Navya. The two seem to share a great bond with each other. Bacchan has made several public appearances to the media where people found her to be quite angry and uncomfortable with the attention. Nanda on the other hand has been found to be meek about her public appearances.

Jaya Bacchan Comment On Navya Nanda

Recently on Nanda's podcast, Bacchan talked about the times she grew up in and how things were conducted in relationships and marriages. Bacchan said that there wasn't much space for them to experiment and make choices which were unconventional. She also talked about the importance of trust and physical attraction as a relationship cannot last over just love and adjustments. She said, "People will find it objectionable coming from me but physical attraction and compatibility are also very important. Our times we couldn't experiment but today the generation does and why shouldn't they? Because that also is responsible for a long-lasting relationship. If there isn't a physical relationship it's not going to last very long. You can't be lasting on love and fresh air and adjustment, I feel. It's very very important."

Jaya Bacchan further spoke about how to deal with broken relationships and how things have changed from her generation to ">Navya Nanda's. Like a grandmother any granddaughter would wish to have, she said, "Sometimes it's a pity but a lot of the younger lot, of course, we never could, we couldn't even think about it but the younger generation even after me, Shweta's generation, Navya's is a different ballgame, but they would feel guilty going through that experience and I think it's very wrong. It's okay and then you do things on the sly. If you had a physical relationship and you feel that still, my relationship otherwise not worked out you can be nice about it."

There is a lot of discussion about having a child outside of marriage in India as it's still a taboo and mothers and kids always end up listening to regressive comments. Bacchan on this matter said, "I'm looking at it very clinically. Since there's a lack of that emotion, the romance today...I think you should marry your best friend. You should have a good friend, you should discuss and say, ‘Maybe I'd like to have a child with you because I like you, I think you're nice, so let's get married because that's what society's saying'. I have no problem if you have a child without a marriage also, I really don't have a problem."

In the podcast, Jaya Bacchan also spilled beans about some details from her marriage with Amitabh Bacchan and how there were conditions given to her. Bacchan seems to have opened up to her granddaughter and her audience a lot about herself and her audience and keeping up with the mindset of the current generation.
