Delhi Woman Killed After Being Dragged By Car

A 20-year-old Delhi woman was killed after a car hit her scooter and dragged her for nearly 12 kilometres. The five men in the car have been arrested.

Recently, the Delhi police revealed that the woman was not alone on the scooter and that another girl was with her at the time of the accident.

She suffered injuries and fled from the scene, however, the deceased's legs got stuck in the car, after which she was dragged by the car.

Iran Mandatory Headscarf In Cars

As nationwide protests continue following the untimely death of Mahsa Amini, the Iranian police resumed warnings that women must wear mandatory headscarves even in cars.

22-year-old Amini's death on September 16 sparked the protests after she was arrested for allegedly breaching the strict dress code for women and wearing her headscarf too loosely.

Tennis Legend Martina Navratilova Diagnosed With Cancer

66-year-old Martina Navratilova revealed that she has been diagnosed with Stage 1 throat and breast cancer.

The veteran tennis player has overcome cancer earlier and was diagnosed with cancer for the first time in 2010.

Navratilova said in a statement, "This double whammy is serious but still fixable. I'm hoping for a favourable outcome."

Mexico's Supreme Court Elects First Female Chief Justice

Justice Norma Lucia Pina was sworn in for her four-year term as the head of the 11-member court. She is Mexico's Supreme Court's first female chief justice.

The Chief Justice will head the entire judicial branch.

Pina said, "Judicial independence is indispensable in resolving conflicts between the branches of government."

Youth Stabs 19-Year-Old Girl To Death For Rejecting Proposal

A 19-year-old BTech student, Layasmitha, was stabbed to death by her distant relative at a college in Bengaluru. The attacker, Pawan Kalyan tried to end his life after stabbing the girl and stabbed himself in the chest.

The girl died on the spot and the accused's condition is critical.
