The reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 hosted by Amitabh Bachchan got its first crorepati Himani Bundela on Tuesday.

The episode began with a cliff-hanger when Himani Bundela attempted a one crore rupees question and won the prize.

Bundela belongs to Agra in Uttar Pradesh. She is visually impaired and works as a mental maths teacher in Agra. She lost her eyesight when she met with an accident in 2011.

She won the prize by answering the question about Noor Inayat Khan. The host asked about the alias used by Khan to work as a spy for Britain in France during the Second World War. Bundela answered " Jeanne-Marie Renier and won one crore rupees.

That is when the host, Amitabh Bachchan exclaimed, "What a player! Unbelievable!". Himani Bundela after her victory said that she had only wanted to sit on the hot- seat and that winning the prize is a surreal moment in her life.

Bundela did not stop there. She attempted the seven crore rupees worth question next. The host asked the title of the thesis submitted by B.R. Ambedkar to the London School of Economics in 1923. Since Bundela was not sure about the correct answer, she decided to call it quits.

Bundela was awarded a brand new car along with the one crore rupees cash amount. During the previous episode, Bundela had said that if she wins, she will use the prize money for the betterment of the visually impaired students.

Amitabh Bachchan moved by her courage said that she is the perfect example and an inspiration for the viewers of the reality show.
