Hema Malini On BJP Win In UP: Nothing Can Come In Front Of A Bulldozer

The party's Member of Parliament from Mathura, Hema Malini gave a statement on the victory and said, "nothing can come in front of a bulldozer." She referred to the action taken by the state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to vacate allegedly illegally occupied lands using the machine bulldozer.

In her statement, Malini further claimed that BJP has worked for the development of every section in Uttar Pradesh. While speaking to ANI, she said, "We already knew our government will form; we have worked for every developmental aspect, which is why the public trust us, nothing can come in front of a bulldozer, as it can finish everything within a minute, be it cycle or anything else."

As per the current official trends of the possible election result, Bharatiya Janta Party is leading the polls by winning 258 seats in the state. Samajwadi Party seems to be the runner up with 112 assembly seats. Crossing the majority mark was enough to state BJP's victory in the state so the Lucknow office of the party started celebrating. The vote counting so far indicates that BJP will retain power in the state bringing Yogi Adityanath his second term as the Chief Minister of the state.

The counting of the votes started at 8 pm and will continue till the final results are out. The assembly seat votes are being counted in others states as well. In Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party won majority of the seats making its candidate Bhagwat Mann the Chief Minister of the state. In Uttarakhand, BJP again crossed the majority mark by winning 48 seats. In Manipur, BJP seems to have just crossed the mark with 30 seats where the majority line is at 31.
